Fenglin Lu is a partner at Merits & Tree Law Offices. Prior to joining M&T, he worked at a well-known law firm for many years.
Mr. Lu has extensive experience in the practice areas of real estate development, PPP development and financing, corporate equity structure design, equity investment and M&A，PE funds. He has provided legal services for more than ten of the top 100 real estate companies in China, and participated in the legal risk prevention of real estate projects throughout the whole development. Mr. Lu has also offered M&A legal services for listed companies and non-listed companies in various industries such as real estate, pharmaceuticals, smart industry, and food, and his works mainly involved in due diligence, negotiations, drafting and amending contracts. In the field of dispute resolution, he has been led or participated hundreds of dispute resolution cases, including several commerial dispute resolution with significant amounts.
Mr. Lu is a member of the Mergers and Acquisitions and Investment Committee of the Zhejiang Lawyers Association, a member of the Commercial Committee of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association, the director of the Civil and Commercial Professional Committee of the Xihu Branch of the Hangzhou Lawyers Association, a legislative expert under the database of the Hanzhou People's Congress of Xihu District, a mentor of the "Green Peak Talent Academy" at Zhejiang Gongshang University, and an arbitrator of the Beihai Court of International Arbitration.
